We Germans watched on \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddeadennoch, despite all moral reservations.<\/p>\n\n<p>Now it&#8217;s time to show how things can be done better &#8211; and finally bring the games to Germany \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea.<\/p>\n\n<p>It has been a clear \ud83d\udcaf % vote of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) at the 19th General Assembly in #BadenBaden to face exactly this challenge.\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n\n<p>Congratulations to #DOSB President Thomas Weikert also for the convincing re-election and DOSB Chairman Torsten Burmester, who have unmistakably placed the claim for Olympia in Germany \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea.<\/p>\n\n<p>#Germany can show that games can also be held #sustainably, using existing infrastructures and making it a real &#8220;people&#8217;s festival&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>There are already excellent concepts on the market that support precisely this sustainable idea and the question of whether the International Olympic Committee &#8211; IOC likes it is not important, because it will be more important that the #athletes formulate what they want for once and not an Executive Board alone decides out of political considerations. Zugeschaut haben wir Deutschen \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddeadennoch, allen moralischen Bedenken zum Trotz.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nun wird es Zeit zu zeigen, wie es besser geht \u2013 und die Spiele endlich nach Deutschland \ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea zu holen.<\/p>\n\n<p>Herzlichen Gl\u00fcckwunsch an DOSB-Pr\u00e4sident Thomas Weikert und den DOSB-Vorsitzenden Torsten Burmester, die ihre Forderung klar und unmissverst\u00e4ndlich formuliert haben.<\/p>\n\n<p>#Deutschland kann zeigen, dass es m\u00f6glich ist, die Spiele auf nachhaltige Weise zu veranstalten, bestehende Infrastrukturen zu nutzen und sie zu einem echten &#8220;Volksfest&#8221; zu machen.<\/p>\n\n<p>Es gibt bereits hervorragende Konzepte auf dem Markt, die genau diese nachhaltige Idee unterst\u00fctzen und die Frage, ob es dem Internationalen Olympischen Komitee &#8211; IOC gef\u00e4llt, ist nicht wichtig, denn es wird wichtiger sein, dass die #Athleten einmal formulieren, was sie wollen und nicht nur ein Exekutivrat nach politischen Gesichtspunkten entscheidet.
