The German #Basketballers narrowly missed their first European Championship final in 17 years despite another inspiring performance. But they won #Bronze\ud83e\udd49 against #Poland with 82:69 and made history!<\/p>\n\n
This is an excellent result that no one seriously expected at the beginning of the @FIBA #EuroBaskets.<\/p>\n\n
Of course we Germans would have been happy if it had been enough for silver\ud83e\udd48 or even gold\ud83e\udd47 \u2013 but the German #NationalBasketballTeam and the @DBB can be proud of this achievement.<\/p>\n\n
The fact that #DennisSchr\u00f6der was also able to sign a one-year contract worth $2.6 million with the #LosAngelesLakers shows how impressive the performance is also rated abroad. \u26f9\ufe0f\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n
The final will be contested by Olympic silver medallists France and Spain \u2013 may the better team win!\ud83c\udfc0<\/p>\n\n
