Unfortunately or understandably, Putin\u2019s genocide in Ukraine overshadowed the 13th Paralympic Games in Beijing.<\/p>\n\n
564 athletes from 46 countries took part in the most important major sporting event for people with physical disabilities. They competed in 78 competitions in a total of six sports for the coveted medals.<\/p>\n\n
Even if only 7th place was achieved in the medal table in Beijing, Germany still leads the eternal medal table of the Paralympic Winter Games. The teams (Germany, FRG, GDR and the joint team 1956 and 1960) won a total of 364 medals before the start in Beijing. In second place is Norway (327 medals), followed by the USA in third place (315).<\/p>\n\n
We are proud to be a partner of Team D Paralympics and thus also to support the work of the dedicated teams of Deutsche Sport Marketing and the German Disabled Sports Association.<\/p>\n\n

Selbst wenn es in Peking nur zu Platz 7 im Medaillenspiegel langte, so f\u00fchrt Deutschland den ewigen Medaillenspiegel der Paralympischen Winterspiele an. Die Teams (Deutschland, BRD, DDR und das gemeinsame Team 1956 und 1960) holten vor dem Start in Peking insgesamt 364 Medaillen. Auf Platz zwei folgt Norwegen (327 Medaillen), danach kommen die USA auf dem dritten Platz (315).<\/p>\n\n
