For the first time in 17 years, a senior international match took place in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and that was not all – it was also the first ever DFB women’s international match in Rostock.

Our German women once again faced Denmark in the group stage of the UEFA Nations League. After an enthralling match in September, in which our women lost 2-0, the anticipation of a win was already high before the game – especially with the new coach Horst Hrubesch and the previous victories in the group stage.

With a 3:0 victory against the team from Denmark, our DFB women finally got their desired result and thus kept their chances of participating in the Olympics alive.

The players were thus able to show what they are made of in their last international match of the year on German soil.

APA has also equipped this game for the TV broadcast and we are already looking forward to the final round of the tournament!
