CORPORATE BRANDING AT ITS BEST

APA delivered a world-class performance at the new edition of the Hamburg European Open. Germany’s most traditional ATP tennis tournament has been completely relaunched by the Reichel Business Group since 2019.

Away from the classic tennis image, the traditional event was lent glamor and a vision for the future with bold ideas and new approaches. APA had a strong “forehand” here and was responsible for the entire brand relaunch.

In addition to the holistic consulting, the conceptual relaunch including logo development, corporate identity/corporate design as well as the conception and implementation of the image trailer was a new, very special task, which we solved with full energy and creative power.

The result speaks for itself. The highlight of the new logo: It is developed from the winning match ball of the previous year and is thus created anew every year – unique worldwide!

AFTER THE MATCH IS BEFORE THE MATCH

During the almost one-year lead time, the various APA teams worked at full speed. Major challenges were mastered quickly and professionally. For example, the Beach Volleyball World Championships ended only two weeks before the start of the tournament - several tons of sand had to be removed in the shortest possible time to get the facility clean for the "Hamburg European Open". In the final spurt, a 15-man APA installation crew, accompanied by our 3-man mobile advertising technology crew with its mobile printing station, realized the implementation of all branding measures. Currently, the complete renovation of the Rothenbaum Stadium in Hamburg is taking place, which means: There will be new challenges - we are looking forward to it!
