LED TECHNOLOGY IN A CLASS OF ITS OWN IN THE BIATHLON
Hardly any other project is as diverse as the IBU Biathlon World Cup with its 10 event locations and the annual Biathlon World Championships. On behalf of IBU marketing partner Infront, APA equips the international competitions not only with the entire branding but also with innovative LED constructions.
Inspired by title sponsor BMW, the special and unmistakable design of the “kidney radiator grille” inspired our design specialists to create individual as well as novel TV-relevant advertising placements.
The new single start constructions with the latest outdoor SMD modules, the patented APA LED light band as well as the new intermediate time, mass start and finish pylons were able to convince the spectators on site as well as on TV!
This example shows how the internal cogs of the design department, our designers and assemblers mesh perfectly to stage this mammoth project.
