Der Traum von Gold ist vorbei!
Die deutschen #Basketballer haben trotz einer erneut begeisternden Vorstellung ihr erstes EM-Finale seit 17 Jahren knapp verpasst. Dafür haben sie aber #Bronze🥉 gegen #Polen mit 82:69 gewonnen und damit Geschichte geschrieben!
Das ist ein exzellentes Ergebnis mit dem zu Beginn der FIBA #EuroBaskets niemand ernsthaft gerechnet hat.
Natürlich hätten wir Deutschen🇩🇪 uns gefreut, wenn es für Silber🥈 oder gar Gold🥇 gereicht hätte – aber die Deutsche #Basketballnationalmannschaft und der Deutscher Basketball Bund e.V. können stolz auf diese Leistung sein.
Das Kapitän #DennisSchröder zudem einen mit 2.6 Millionen $ dotierten Jahresvertrag mit den #LosAngelesLakers abschließen konnte, zeigt wie beeindruckend die Leistung auch im Ausland gewertet wird. ⛹️♂️
Das #Finale bestreiten der Olympia-Zweite #Frankreich und #Spanien – möge der bessere gewinnen!🏀

The dream of gold is over!
The German #Basketballers narrowly missed their first European Championship final in 17 years despite another inspiring performance. But they won #Bronze🥉 against #Poland with 82:69 and made history!
This is an excellent result that no one seriously expected at the beginning of the @FIBA #EuroBaskets.
Of course we Germans would have been happy if it had been enough for silver🥈 or even gold🥇 – but the German #NationalBasketballTeam and the @DBB can be proud of this achievement.
The fact that #DennisSchröder was also able to sign a one-year contract worth $2.6 million with the #LosAngelesLakers shows how impressive the performance is also rated abroad. ⛹️♂️
The final will be contested by Olympic silver medallists France and Spain – may the better team win!🏀
