The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 are the world’s largest inclusive sporting event. Thousands of #athletes with intellectual and multiple #disabilities compete with each other in 26 sports.
Today in Berlin, our CEO Peter Adelfang had the pleasure to sign the #Supporter Contract for APA Brands Events Solutions together with the CEO of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 Sven Albrecht.
After #APA already equipped the National Games last year as general supplier for #signage & #branding, the World Games also rely on our #expertise.
From June 17 to 25, 2023, the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 will take place – and for the first time in Germany.
We are looking forward to an international, colorful celebration of sport for more recognition and social #participation of people with intellectual disabilities.
7,000 #athletes and #unified partners from 90 #nations with 3,000 #coaches, #trainers and #supervisors will join 20,000 #volunteers and 9,000 family members to make these Games truly #SPECIAL.
We find the #vision of an inclusive society through the unifying power of sport really worth supporting.
People with intellectual disabilities will thus have equal access to #sports, #education, #culture and #healthcare.
