Admittedly, we at APA Brands Events Solutions like to play first fiddle, but when it comes to world-class classical music, we humbly take a step back.
Now in its eighth year, APA Brands Events Solutions is supporting this magnificent SWISS ALPS CLASSICS concert series.
It stands for beautiful, sometimes extraordinary locations around the mystical St. Gotthard, as well as for personal proximity to world-class artists.
President & Organiser, Peter Michael Reichel, is passionate about showcasing the cultural and touristic uniqueness of the region beyond the borders of Central Switzerland.
Under the motto ‘THE NORDIC SOUND’, a musical bridge was built this year from the heart of Europe to the far north of Europe.
The Norwegian star violinist Eldbjørg Hemsing, the Norwegian pianist Håvard Gimse and the compositions of their compatriots Edvard Grieg, Johan Halvorsen and Johan Svendsen took centre stage.
A musical bond was forged between Norway and the Swiss Alps at this festival, in which Eldbjørg Hemsing and Håvard Gimse also performed together with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the oldest symphony orchestra in Switzerland, in the Andermatt Concert Hall. Also taking part, soloist Anastasia Kobekina on the cello.
The Swiss Alps Classics came to a culinary and lifestyle conclusion with a wonderful finale on Friday evening at the Cotton Club Andermatt under the motto ‘The Nordic Sound Dinner & After Party’ and the gala dinner with artists on Saturday evening at the 5-star hotel THE CHEDI ANDERMATT.
A wonderful change for APA from the usual stages of major sporting events or perhaps also a ‘warm-up’ for the equipment of the high-end VIP areas of the 2024 Hospitality Experience as part of the UEFA EURO 2024, which starts in around 40.
