The European Handball Federation Final Four is the season highlight of the European handball elite and took place this year for the 14th time in the LANXESS Arena in Cologne. The handball thrill began with the semifinal matches on Saturday and culminated with the third place matches and the final yesterday, Sunday.

In addition to FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, the team from Kielce, Poland, was also represented, as well as SC Magdeburg – Handball Magdeburg GmbH as the German representative.

The cherry on top of the cream cake was provided by SC Magdeburg, who secured the title in a gripping final thriller with 30:29 after extra time, for only the second time in their club history, and are now sitting on the handball throne of Europe. Congratulations!
