What a wonderful 9 days!
What a mood in the city!
What great enthusiasm, across all walks of life!
It was a gigantic sports festival, starting with an impressive opening ceremony in the #BerlinOlympiastadion, over sensational 9 days in which the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, as the largest sports event for people with intellectual disabilities, showed that #sport knows hardly any borders.
It became impressively clear how people with intellectual disabilities achieve more #recognition, #selfconfidence and ultimately more #participation in society through sport.
