Thanks to ZDF, millions were able to follow this special honor on their screens at 10:15 pm.

For the first time, Lena Kesting and Sven Voss hosted the vote for Sportsperson of the Year.

This year, biathlete Denise Herrmann-Wick and gymnast Lukas Hauser were chosen.
Our national basketball team was named team of the year.
Congratulations on this outstanding honor.
