APA LETS THE NORDIC SKI WORLD CUP SHINE

For 10 days, cross-country skiers, ski jumpers and Nordic combined athletes fought for the coveted precious metals. It took a whole year of preparation to make not only the event site, but also the whole of Seefeld shine in the World Cup look. An APA domain – and so both the LOC and marketer Infront relied on APA’s expertise. Since 2000, APA has been an indispensable part of the international ski circus with its equipment for the legendary Four Hills Tournament and the subsequent Winter Sports World Championships.

Whether it was the Alpine World Ski Championships in Beaver Creek, St. Moritz or Are in Sweden, or the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Garmisch or Schladming, they were all given the look and feel of a spectacular major event, and not just with the city dressing. In addition to the visual highlights of large areas and special structures, the focus here was on the wayfinding system to the various locations with signage and orientation towers.

CONSTRUCTION WORLD CHAMPION

For Stora Enso, the world's largest wood-processing Finnish-Swedish group and main sponsor, APA developed sustainable start & exit gates, award ceremony backdrops, split-time towers and course pylons from Stora Enso wood in combination with the latest APA LED technology. In APA's development workshops, with great attention to detail, the individual unique pieces were designed and handcrafted. Mainly renewable raw materials were used to create eye-catchers with media impact. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
