As Founder & Managing Partner of APA Brands Events Solutions, I had the great honor to represent our company together with my wife Ute as Silver Partner at the Federal Press Ball.
Are we celebrating our freedom, especially #pressfreedom and our way of life with the Bundespresseball 2022 or is the social highlight of this spring in #Berlin a tastelessness towards the ongoing war in #Ukraine? But this question also moved us a lot as a couple at APA.
After the gala event, we were and are even more convinced that we have sent an important signal by supporting this event. There was a significant #impulse of #empathy and #support for Ukraine, the Ukrainian people and especially for free Ukrainian media. Especially #NataliaKlitschko, the wife of Kiev’s mayor #VitaliKlitschko, who accompanied the event, reinforced the meaningfulness and steeliness of the Federal Press Ball in these difficult times.
Ukrainian artists and Ukrainian journalists performed at the gala. In addition, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany #AndrijMelnyk gave a significant speech. In the evening, the guests donated money to the organization “Reporters without Borders”, which launched aid projects for journalists in Ukraine and fled journalists and supports independent press reporting in Russia.
With our lifestyle product FanFrame we showed historical moments of #freedom of Europe in a small exhibition. That is why we at APA, together with our cooperation partner TÜV Rheinland Group, were very happy to support this great initiative of the Federal Press Conference #proBono.
It was an honor for us to create the complete #hygiene concept and to certify the event concept in the legendary Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin for 1,800 invited guests with our partner TÜV. Compliments to ADLON GM Michael Sorgenfrey and Executive Assistant Manager Cornelia Zschunke – great job by the whole ADLON team.
But congratulations especially to the Federal Press Conference and Ball Managing Director #SzentIvanyi with event manager Nadja Meister and her dedicated team. Difficult topic coherently implemented.
