The $250,000 lawn tournament, the WTA Bad Homburg Open presented by Engel & Völkers, was the ideal preparation for Wimbledon.

Although all five main draw participants, including local hero Andrea Petkovic and Angelique Kerber, were eliminated early, an exciting final was assured with the Canadian 🇨🇦 Bianca Andreescu and Caroline Garcia from France 🇫🇷 . Garcia won the final 7-6 (11-9), 3-6, 7-5.

There was a week of world-class tennis 🎾, first-class catering 🍽, great atmosphere simply a flair of Wimbledon.🍓

Congratulations to tournament director Dr. Aljoscha Thron and organizer Marcus Günthardt from Perfect Match Agentur. It was a pleasure for us to equip this high class event at the historic facility in Bad Homburg.

Even before the first Wimbledon tournament in 1877, the up-and-coming spa and health resort became acquainted with British spa guests playing tennis on spa lawns.

We look forward to continuing in 2023🍀
