Until yesterday, the 33rd edition of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz, from 28.01. until 04.02. took place at the Design Center in Linz, Austria, with a new, outstanding special feature:

The tournament has been upgraded to the 500 category and now has an impressive prize fund of almost one million dollars, which puts it on a par with the men’s ATP 500 tournament in Vienna.

Jeļena Ostapenko, the former French Open winner, won her second WTA title of the season in a thrilling final against the top seeded Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova 6:2, 6:3!

In addition to first-class tennis, women’s sport is also the focus of the simultaneous symposium. Additional events, such as the inclusion of wheelchair athletes in a green event or the “1,000 rackets for 1,000 girls” campaign, give the event a pioneering character. Sandra Reichel and her team make a special tennis highlight with international attention possible.

As a partner of the tournament, we are proud to have staged the Design Center again this year – for the spectators on site and the fans in front of the screens in 149 broadcasting countries.
