The “Who’s Who” of Hamburg sport came together for the Hamburg
Sports Gala 2024. Host Senator Andy Grote welcomed 400 guests to the venerable rooms of the Chamber of Commerce.

Our CEO, Peter Adelfang, had the pleasure of welcoming the tournament director Sandra Reichel of the Hamburg European Open, along with many other sports organizer protagonists.

This year, the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Hamburg Sports Association and the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce once again honored Hamburg’s athletes for national and international successes they achieved in 2023.

Congratulations to the Hamburg Sportsman of the Year 2023, sailor Sebastian Kördel, who received the coveted award for the second year in a row.
Congratulations also to the 2023 Sportswoman of the Year in Hamburg karate athlete Reem Khamis. The Hamburg sailing team and couple Anastasiya and Malte Winkel won the race as the best Hamburg team.

The Active City Award deservedly went to the Hamburg Special Olympics team.
In 2023, APA Brands Events Solutions was once again able to equip numerous international sports events in the sports city of Hamburg, and it will be a similar story in the Active City in the super sports year 2024.
