Whether it’s a penalty kick thriller at the HSV Cup match in Hamburg, the defeat of the women’s national handball team in Krefeld, the opening ceremony of the Paralympics in Beijing or precision shooting at the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland, our APA crews are in action around the globe.

For the different APA departments, it is a great challenge to have to adjust every day to the individual wishes of a different sport, a different customer or the culture of a different country. 24/7 the departments are in different staffing at the start or in standby mode.

Events do not ask for working hours but for solutions.

I always find it impressive what the colleagues who carry out these different trades achieve and this week has shown me once again how demanding our craft at APA is after all. All of this can only be achieved with committed and motivated employees who, when in doubt, simply do their job reliably in blazing sun, stormy winds or freezing cold.

So today, in addition to naming our event highlights this week, I want to send thanks to these special departments.
