For the 76th time, the best were in the spotlight for the “Sportsman of the Year” award. The sports family traditionally met in the Bénazet Hall of the #Kurhaus in #BadenBaden, which, as always, presented itself in festive splendor.
The experts of the #media vote for #athletes, #athletes and teams time-delayed broadcast by ZDF about role models of sports, who presented themselves, first on the red carpet and then on stage, as impressive #personalities.
#NatalieGeisenberger and #NiklasKaul were honored for their outstanding performances and Eintracht Frankfurt as the best team. Four-time Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel delivered the laudatory speech in the form of a poem🙏.
They were all awarded the high-ranking title of #SportswomanOfTheYear, #SportsmanOfTheYear, and #TeamOfTheYear, respectively.
Katrin Müller-Hohenstein and Rudi Cerne led entertainingly through the program and #MichaelPatrickKelly performed as a surprise act.
