Leoni Aulmann as main project manager of the DFB Cup Final, Nancy Bart as skin project manager of the DFB Cup Competition, Natalie Fischer as responsible graphic designer in the APA team and Annika Schmidt as project supervisor spurred our 20-man strong APA Implementation Team to top performance at the 80th Cup Final.
It showed again that if you finally give women the reins in this male-dominated soccer world, something strong can come out of it.
With the branding & signage control tool APA-Pics, specially developed by APA, these four women and their 20-strong APA technical team controlled, coordinated and lent a hand with 3,820 individual items, from door signs to large banners, the special constructions at the Marathon Gate, the branding of the VIP boxes or the hospitality areas or the Red Carpet Entree.
Male colleagues “tipped their hats” and APA supervisor and team leader Kim Gehrmann was full of praise.
The 80th DFB Cup final was held in a sovereign, well-coordinated and precise manner, with RB Leipzig beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2:0 to crown the 2023 Cup winner. After a well-deserved victory, the Leipzig team received the coveted trophy from the hands of the #FederalPresident.
Congratulations to Leipzig, but also to the APA women’s power team – you did a great job with your APA Implementation colleagues.
