The U21 national team is currently in the qualifying phase for next year’s European Championship finals in Slovakia.

Instead, our U21 national team had two matches within a week. On Friday, they faced the team from Kosovo in Chemnitz and today they faced Israel in Halle.
So far, the German team has led qualifying group D on equal points with Poland. After a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Kosovo, they had to relinquish the lead in the table.

But today was a completely different day! In a thrilling match against Israel, they managed to take a 1:0 lead in the 14th minute. With a strong dominance of the game, the German team hardly gave Israel any scoring chances. Even when Israel pressed in the second half, the national team remained confident and even increased the score to 2:0.

In the end, it was a well-deserved victory that puts them back at the top of the table, now one point ahead of Poland. Congratulations to the team for this great success before the start of the qualifying break!
