The tension in German football has reached an all-time high: only six Bundesliga teams are remaining in the DFB Cup – a rarity that has not been seen for three decades. The draw for the DFB Cup was held at the Football Museum in Dortmund on Sunday.

The match between VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund is a particular focus, as the Swabians are currently the absolute surprise team in the Bundesliga. 1. FC Saarbrücken, who caused a sensation with their win against Bayern Munich, will face last year’s finalists Eintracht Frankfurt in a month’s time.

APA once again had the honour of equipping the Football Museum for the TV draw and we are already looking forward to the exciting duels on 5. and 6 December.

Here are all the pairings at a glance:

FC 08 Homburg – St. Pauli
